Mechanical Procurement Engineer

About the role

China State Construction (CSCEC ME) is seeking a Mechanical Procurement Engineer to manage the full procurement cycle for auxiliary and miscellaneous materials, as well as manpower subcontractors, within its Dubai operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the complete procurement process for project auxiliary and miscellaneous materials, including RFQ, quotation comparison, commercial negotiation, order placement, delivery coordination, and supplier management.
• Manage procurement of manpower subcontractors and hourly workers, covering RFQ, commercial negotiation, contract finalization, and performance follow‑up.
• Invite qualified bidders, evaluate quotations for compliance with specifications, negotiate commercial terms, and produce technical and price evaluation reports.
• Review technical data from successful bidders, coordinate submittals with the project team, and ensure contractual terms are implemented.
• Prepare contract agreements, follow up on bank guarantees, and report procurement status to the team leader.
• Survey market prices for construction‑related materials and stay updated on new materials and technologies.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
