Mechanical QC Inspector – Rotating & Static Equipment

About the role

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Mechanical QC Inspector (Rotating/Static Equipments) to join a top‑qualified Quality team within our Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division. The role supports the implementation of quality control procedures for mechanical works on EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the assigned Mechanical QC Engineer and support quality control procedures for rotating and static equipment works.
• Review project technical specifications, drawings and BOQ to identify quality requirements and inspection criteria.
• Participate in site receiving inspections of mechanical materials and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
• Perform fit‑up inspections and final dimensional verification prior to installation and welding activities.
• Prepare, file and maintain inspection reports, test records and other quality documentation.
• Attend and support client inspections and testing activities within the assigned area.
• Prepare punch lists for completed mechanical works and follow up until closure.
• Assist construction personnel in identifying quality issues, potential problems and non‑conformances.
• Report and escalate non‑conforming work to the Mechanical QC Engineer or QC Manager.
• Ensure all measuring and testing instruments used for inspections are calibrated and functional.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a QC Rotating/Static Equipment Inspector on oil and gas projects.
• Hands‑on experience inspecting piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, valves and associated mechanical systems.
