Mechanical Quantity Surveyor – Piping

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to manage piping works on complex EPC projects. The role involves preparing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and Material Take‑Offs (MTOs) while ensuring accurate progress tracking and material management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs for piping works, including spool fabrication, erection, painting, NDE, PWHT and related services.
• Develop MTOs by reviewing Scope of Work, isometric drawings and P&IDs, capturing all required materials and specialty items.
• Collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors and quality control to resolve discrepancies in progress reports.
• Generate comprehensive reports on executed and remaining quantities, progress metrics and other management information.
• Validate subcontractor invoices against approved BOQs and contract terms before payment.
• Oversee piping material logistics – purchase requests, order placement, deliveries, issuance and stock reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Piping Quantity Surveyor in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials and specifications used in oil and gas projects.
