Mechanical Supervisor – HVAC Projects

About the role

The Mechanical Supervisor will lead HVAC installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning activities across ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality execution in line with client specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC technicians, mechanics, ducting technicians, pipe fitters, helpers and subcontractors.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, method statements and work schedules before work starts.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools and equipment to meet project timelines.
• Monitor daily progress, ensure proper installation of accessories (dampers, grilles, diffusers, vibration isolators, etc.).
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation teams and vendors to avoid conflicts.
• Conduct site inspections for workmanship quality and compliance with drawings.
• Manage HVAC testing and commissioning: pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, air & water balancing, functional testing and performance verification.
• Maintain daily reports on manpower, progress, equipment utilization and material consumption.
• Enforce HSE requirements, conduct toolbox talks and ensure permits, risk assessments and JSA are in place.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in HVAC installation, construction, maintenance, testing or commissioning.
• 3‑5 years in a supervisory role, preferably on oil & gas, petrochemical, power or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑focused mindset and ability to work on‑site at various ADNOC locations.
