Medical Advisor

About the role

Sobi is seeking a Medical Advisor to lead country‑level medical activities in Dubai, supporting the development and delivery of innovative therapies for rare diseases. The role involves scientific communication, KOL engagement, and pharmacovigilance responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts and other medical stakeholders.
• Deliver high‑quality medical and scientific communications in line with defined communication plans.
• Create and execute stakeholder engagement plans and organize scientific advisory boards.
• Support the local hemophilia team in developing medical tactics and provide input to regional plans.
• Coordinate medical information enquiries and safety report handling, including regulatory submissions.
• Represent Sobi at local, regional and global congresses and interact with hospitals, patient associations and NGOs.
• Maintain relationships with scientific societies and health authorities, providing advice on medical matters and legal implications.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate medical degree.
• 3‑5+ years of experience as an MSL, preferably in GCC markets, haematology or rare diseases.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Demonstrated ability to meet medical KPIs and manage complex portfolios.
• Strong collaborative, communication and negotiation skills.
