Medical Representative

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote the company’s pharmaceutical products within an assigned territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals to generate prescriptions and achieve sales objectives. This role supports brand growth and market share expansion through scientific discussions and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare professionals.
• Plan and conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and scientific discussions.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective territory planning and execution.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Implement company sales and marketing strategies, supporting product launches, conferences, and round‑table discussions.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback, providing timely insights to management.
• Identify new customers and business opportunities, keeping an accurate customer database.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports using the Sales Visits and Reporting System (SVRS) or other tools.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Finance, Logistics, and other departments to ensure effective commercial execution.
• Manage promotional resources and budgets in line with company policies.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, conferences, and other scientific or promotional events as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline.
• Previous experience as a Medical Representative, Product Specialist, or in a similar pharmaceutical sales role.
