Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote and sell assigned pharmaceutical brands to hospitals, clinics and pharmacies across Abu Dhabi. You will generate demand through targeted medical visits, maintain strong product presence, and support market‑share growth.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell assigned brands to hospital and pharmacy accounts, focusing on gynecology and orthopedics specialties.
• Plan and execute regular physician visits, using product detailing and professional selling techniques.
• Ensure product availability at points of sale, meet distribution targets and secure orders reflecting prescription levels.
• Develop and implement market activities to increase brand visibility and market share.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer, competitor and market information and report insights.
• Identify marketing opportunities, initiate new contacts and support launch events with key customers.
• Prepare daily call reports, sales analysis reports and quarterly area sales presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience in Abu Dhabi private hospitals with a strong background in the gynecology therapeutic area.
• Proven hospital sales experience and ability to meet sales targets.
• MBA in Sales and Marketing is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
