Member of Technical Staff – Medical Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join a leading biotechnology research client. The position is fully remote and focuses on designing and implementing advanced computational methods for medical imaging and clinical decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate machine‑learning models for medical imaging analysis.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and software engineers to turn research prototypes into scalable solutions.
• Publish research findings in high‑impact journals and present at conferences.
• Optimize algorithms for accuracy, performance, and efficiency on large‑scale datasets.
• Contribute to internal tools and frameworks that accelerate research workflows.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with a medical focus.
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling applied to medical data.
• Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed medical or AI journals.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (DICOM, HL7) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced research environment.
