MEP Design Engineer – Dubai

About the role

An established engineering consultancy in Dubai is looking for an experienced MEP Design Engineer. You will be responsible for creating complete MEP designs for residential and commercial projects and ensuring compliance with local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems for G+4/G+5 residential and commercial buildings.
• Prepare detailed calculations, layouts, schematics and drawings in line with project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, DCD and other UAE codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to deliver clash‑free solutions.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and provide technical support during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE consultancy experience in MEP design.
• Proven experience on G+4/G+5 residential and commercial projects.
• Strong coordination, communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with consultants, site teams and authorities.
