MEP Engineer Facilities Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our Facilities Management team at Al Khail Mall. The role involves hands‑on responsibility for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, ensuring reliability, safety and efficiency. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance while identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, inspection and optimisation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related building services.
• Plan and monitor preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and proper technical follow‑up.
• Conduct regular technical inspections to detect defects, risks and recurring issues, and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex MEP problems, perform root‑cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive solutions.
• Monitor system performance to improve energy efficiency, reliability, sustainability and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, technical standards and regulatory regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers and internal departments to guarantee quality and timely execution of works.
• Maintain accurate technical records, maintenance reports and asset information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong professional experience in MEP engineering and facilities management.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, contractors and service providers.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
