MEP Engineer – Fire Protection Systems (FPS)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified MEP Engineer specialized in Fire Protection Systems (FPS) to lead the installation, testing and commissioning of fire safety infrastructure at our substation projects. The role involves close coordination with civil and other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless execution on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of fire protection systems in accordance with approved drawings and standards.
• Manage the installation of fire‑fighting piping (MS, GI, HDPE), sprinkler networks, hydrant and hose‑reel systems.
• Oversee fire pump installation (main, jockey, diesel) and fire alarm system deployment.
• Ensure testing, commissioning and documentation of all FPS components meet local authority requirements.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower productivity and resolve clashes with civil/MEP teams.
• Assist in fire alarm integration testing and prepare reports for consultant approval.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEP coordination on substation or similar industrial sites.
• Hands‑on experience with fire protection and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret approved drawings and adhere to standards.
