Senior Site Architect – Large‑Scale Projects (Middle East)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Site Architect to lead the architectural delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects across the Middle East. You will ensure that design intent is faithfully executed on‑site, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction sites to guarantee accurate implementation of architectural designs.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and consultants to resolve design and construction issues.
• Ensure all activities meet local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Identify and solve on‑site problems, adjusting plans as needed.
• Prepare and present progress reports, highlighting deviations and proposed solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience supervising and administering architectural works on large‑scale projects in the Middle East.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Professional membership (e.g., PE, Peng, CEng) preferred.
• LEED Green Associate (GA) or LEED Accredited Professional (AP) certification is a plus.
