MEP Estimation & Tendering Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer / Tendering Engineer to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will independently manage the full tendering cycle, from reviewing documents to delivering competitive pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, BOQs, specifications and contract requirements.
• Prepare accurate MEP cost estimates and tender prices for Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm and ELV systems.
• Perform detailed digital quantity take‑offs using Plan Swift and maintain related assemblies and templates.
• Develop rate analysis covering materials, labour, equipment and subcontract works.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets and identify project exclusions, risks and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and project teams during the tender stage.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of UAE material prices, supplier rates and historical tender data.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP estimation and tendering, preferably with an established MEP contracting firm.
• Strong knowledge of UAE MEP construction practices, market rates and local suppliers.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Excellent commercial acumen and ability to develop competitive pricing.
