MEP Mechanical Inspector – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our MEP supervision team for construction projects in Dubai. The role involves inspecting and monitoring mechanical installations to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems such as HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, plumbing & drainage, water supply, fire‑fighting and LPG (where applicable), as well as pump rooms and mechanical equipment.
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs), verify compliance with shop drawings, specifications and method statements, and raise observations, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, reports and quality documentation, and coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Witness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing and commissioning activities, and support review of material submittals and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of UAE experience in mechanical inspection and supervision on Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulated projects.
• Experience in hospitality, residential high‑rise, commercial or mixed‑use developments.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire‑fighting systems.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence inspection procedures.
• Ability to review mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in preparing inspection reports and documentation.
