MEP Procurement Officer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated MEP Procurement Officer to join our Abu Dhabi team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will manage end‑to‑end procurement for mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects, ensuring that materials, equipment and services are sourced in line with project specifications, budgets and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure MEP materials, equipment and services according to BOQs, approved submittals and project budgets.
• Obtain, review and compare technical and commercial quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare comparison statements and support procurement recommendations based on price, quality, specifications and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other commercial terms.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, LPOs/purchase orders and related documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers and project teams to ensure timely delivery to site.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Finance and site teams on procurement priorities.
• Maintain relationships with reliable MEP suppliers and subcontractors in the UAE market.
• Support tendering and estimation activities by providing up‑to‑date supplier quotations and market pricing.
• Monitor market pricing and identify cost‑optimization opportunities without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience within the MEP, construction or contracting industry.
• Previous procurement experience in the UAE is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, suppliers and market pricing, especially within the UAE.
