MEP Procurement Officer / Procurement Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive MEP Procurement Officer / Procurement Engineer to join our Dubai team. The role involves managing the full procurement cycle for MEP projects, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality materials and services while achieving cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle for MEP projects, from RFQ to delivery.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, fire alarm and ELV materials.
• Obtain and compare quotations, preparing detailed technical and commercial comparison sheets.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in coordination with management, QS and project teams.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery according to project requirements.
• Maintain a strong database of reliable UAE suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost‑saving and value‑engineering opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP procurement, preferably with an MEP contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of UAE MEP suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting and ELV materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to read BOQs, specifications and basic MEP drawings.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
