MEP Site Engineer – Plumbing & Drainage

About the role

The MEP Site Engineer – Plumbing & Drainage is responsible for organizing, supervising, executing, monitoring and controlling the plumbing and drainage works installation activities under MEP works in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, clients and authorities to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review approved construction drawings and ensure required approvals and documentation are available on site.
• Derive schedule of plumbing & drainage work packages from overall MEP project schedules and prepare for site execution.
• Plan site resources and material requirements, coordinating delivery in line with schedules.
• Manage site resources, execution, progress and productivity of plumbing & drainage works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for installations and with other trades for interface works.
• Interact with client and authority engineers to ensure compliance and smooth execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP plumbing & drainage installation for residential, commercial or industrial projects.
• At least 2 years of experience on MEP projects in the UAE or other GCC countries.
• ESCO industry experience preferred.
