MEPS Overhaul Manager

About the role

The MEPS Overhaul Manager will lead the management and technical support for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and LTE overhaul works within Dubai Metro facilities. Reporting to the MEPS & Power Supply Manager, the role ensures compliance, cost‑efficiency and high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MEPS & Power Supply Manager in implementing complex engineering projects and maintenance strategies.
• Manage sub‑contractors and technical support teams to deliver assets such as elevators, escalators, travelators and LTE systems on time and within budget.
• Conduct 24‑hour on‑call duty for incidents, perform audits of maintenance practices and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, provide technical training and act as a technical expert for overhauls.

Required profile

• Degree or higher diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in design, testing, commissioning and maintenance of MEPS assets, with at least 5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in rail or similar industry, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.
