Merchandise Support Specialist

About the role

Our Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team seeks a Merchandise Support Specialist to oversee branded retail and wholesale operations across Emirates Official Store platforms, ensuring revenue, profit targets and brand integrity are met.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operations at all Emirates Official Stores in the UAE, meeting financial targets and maintaining CCMB standards.
• Manage the business relationship with Dubai Duty Free, coordinate delivery logistics and regularly introduce new products.
• Maintain wholesale margins, achieve revenue and profit objectives, and act as the primary contact for retail operations at The Dubai Mall locations.
• Monitor inventory, organise annual and flash stock‑takes, and maintain a 12‑month rolling marketing calendar.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of retail supervisors and shop assistants, ensuring compliance with audit requirements for the POS system.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar retail operations role.
• Degree or Honours in Marketing & Media Communications or a related field.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations and leading a team.
• Strong understanding of brand value and the Emirates Official Store experience.
• Knowledge of the airline industry, apparel, sport and cultural sponsorships is preferred.
• Ability to handle simultaneous projects, often with minimal supervision.
