Merchandiser

About the role

Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Merchandiser helps plan product and assortment strategies to meet financial targets, coordinates allocation and delivery of merchandise across regional stores, and supports pre‑season financial planning, in‑season projections, open‑to‑buy management and new store budgets. The role also ensures balanced collections, regular replenishment from the warehouse and efficient inter‑store transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Retail Pro reports, Sell‑Thru and other merchandising reports such as consolidation sheets and product breakdowns.
• Liaise with stores, logistics and warehouse teams to align product supply with demand.
• Analyze best and worst sellers, including price points, colors and styles, and report on seasonal performance.
• Optimize volume and profitability of product categories and support range planning.
• Gather customer feedback on products and coordinate with the buying team on order issues.
• Assist in preparing merchandise plans and presentations for the Brand Manager.
• Monitor competition offerings and identify opportunities for the brand.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of reports, invoices and confidential documents.
