Merchandiser – Retail Planning & Allocation

About the role

The Merchandiser supports the Brand Manager in developing product and assortment strategies that meet financial targets. The role coordinates allocation and delivery of merchandise across stores in the UAE, assists with pre‑season planning, open‑to‑buy management and new store budgeting, and ensures balanced collections and timely replenishment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Retail Pro, Sell‑Thru and other merchandising reports, including consolidation sheets and product breakdowns.
• Liaise with stores, logistics and warehouse teams to align product supply with demand.
• Analyze best‑ and worst‑selling items, price points, colors and styles to inform assortment decisions.
• Support pre‑season financial planning, in‑season projections and open‑to‑buy management.
• Coordinate inter‑store transfers and regular replenishment from the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the buying team on order issues, repeats, damages and range planning.
• Prepare merchandise plans and presentations for the Brand Manager and buyers.
• Report on competition offerings and identify commercial opportunities.
