Merchant Acquisition Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Merchant Acquisition Intern to join our In‑store Operations team in Dubai. The intern will work on the ground, visiting partner stores to sign new merchants and support our in‑store marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential merchants at their physical locations, presenting Tamara’s services and partnership benefits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions.
• Conduct on‑site product demonstrations and address merchant concerns to secure new partnerships.
• Gather market intelligence, competitor activity and merchant feedback to inform strategy and product development.
• Guide interested merchants through the application and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• UAE driver’s license is mandatory.
