MFL Spanish Teacher (Full‑Time) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) teacher to deliver Spanish lessons across its network of schools in the United Arab Emirates, starting in August 2027. The role involves inspiring students, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the school’s inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that align with the curriculum.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary units.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with clear displays and resources.
• Reflect on teaching practice and adjust planning based on student progress.
• Work with specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists when required.
• Ensure the school’s language and attitude framework is embedded throughout instruction.
• Track student progress using Target Tracker and use data to inform interventions.
• Provide constructive feedback to parents during conferences and through CPOMS.
• Manage behaviour in line with the school’s policy, fostering motivation and challenge.
• Participate in curriculum action groups and contribute to special events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Professionalism, child‑well‑being focus, and a solution‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
• Experience using the CPOMS communication platform.
