MFL Spanish Teacher (Start Aug 2027)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Modern Foreign Language (MFL) teacher to deliver Spanish lessons across our Abu Dhabi schools starting August 2027. The role involves inspiring learners, collaborating with colleagues and contributing to our inclusive, innovative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish curriculum lessons that meet curriculum requirements and promote student success.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff and external professionals (e.g., speech therapists) to tailor learning experiences.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents and adjust instruction based on data.
• Maintain classroom environment, manage behaviour in line with school policy and contribute to curriculum action groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Enhanced DBS/Disclosure and Barring Service check cleared.
• Commitment to child welfare and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
• Familiarity with the CPOMS safeguarding platform.
