MICE Sales Executive

About the role

The MICE Sales Executive will drive group and event business for Park Hyatt Dubai, focusing on proactive sales, account development and relationship management to meet revenue targets while supporting the hotel’s luxury positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify and generate new MICE and group business opportunities across assigned market segments.
• Conduct proactive sales activities such as calls, client visits, virtual meetings, site inspections and hotel tours.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, Destination Management Companies, event agencies and travel planners.
• Prepare professional proposals, quotations, presentations and contracts aligned with client requirements and the property’s commercial objectives.
• Follow up on enquiries and tentative bookings to improve conversion and maximize revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client profiles and business opportunities in CRM, Envision and other lead‑tracking systems.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Events, Reservations and operational departments to ensure smooth handover of confirmed business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Events Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in MICE sales, group sales or business development, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Good understanding of the MICE sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing and account development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong organisational ability to manage multiple leads, client requirements and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM or hotel sales systems; familiarity with Opera and Envision is preferred.
