About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Middle School Maths Teacher to join GEMS Winchester School in Fujairah starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction to Year 7‑9 students within a British‑based curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student development.
- Contribute to extracurricular maths activities and school events.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school.
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (minimum three‑year programme).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and holistic student development.
- Excellent communication skills in an English‑speaking environment.
