Mill Sales Manager – Packaging & Paper

About the role

Valmet is seeking a Mill Sales Manager to drive growth and enhance customer experience for its Packaging and Paper Business Area in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on service sales, acting as the single point of contact for entire mills or specific production lines, and involves frequent travel across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and book orders across the business area, ensuring compliance with sales processes.
• Lead and support customer negotiations and promote Valmet’s lifecycle solutions.
• Build and maintain trusted‑advisor relationships with key stakeholders.
• Collect and monitor customer feedback and handle high‑priority requests or escalations.
• Keep up‑to‑date with installed‑base data, market trends and align with corporate account‑management strategies.
• Coordinate mill shutdown‑restart schedules and service‑clock planning.
• Lead mill teams or hubs to ensure efficient information exchange, such as quarterly meetings.
• Collaborate with product managers, field services and spare‑parts teams to develop new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Paper Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within paper mills.
• Strong understanding of the pulp, paper and board industry.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
