Minibar In-Charge

About the role

The Minibar In-Charge oversees the daily operation of the minibar service at Fairmont Dubai, ensuring that guest rooms are stocked, billed accurately, and presented to the highest luxury standards. This position plays a key part in delivering a seamless guest experience while supporting revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support Minibar Attendants during daily operations.
• Plan and assign replenishment schedules based on occupancy and room status.
• Maintain minibar stock levels according to approved par levels and brand standards.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts, investigate discrepancies and monitor expiry dates, product quality and storage conditions.
• Post minibar consumption to guest accounts promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and Finance regarding room status, billing and guest requests.
• Prepare beverage and snack requisitions, manage waste, breakage and cost‑control initiatives.
• Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, safety and luxury service standards.
• Handle guest enquiries or complaints related to minibar service professionally.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety and company policies, and assist during audits.
