Minibar Runner – Housekeeping

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Minibar Runner to join its Housekeeping team. You will be responsible for servicing minibars across all guest rooms and suites, ensuring accurate stock management and compliance with hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Service all minibars within hotel rooms and suites.
• Perform stock taking of minibar items and maintain accurate accounting of consumptions on guest folios.
• Conduct regular checks of expiry dates, product quality and label condition.
• Monitor operating supplies, equipment and work to reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Execute opening and closing procedures for the minibar department.
• Carry out additional duties requested by management related to hotel operations.

Required profile

• Senior High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational hospitality diploma is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury hotel housekeeping environment.
• Experience in the Middle East and hotel pre‑opening projects is advantageous.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
• Professional appearance, physical stamina to stand for long periods and flexibility to work overnight shifts.
