Mobile App Development Engineer

About the role

This role is responsible for designing, developing and enhancing mobile applications that support the enterprise systems of the organization, ensuring seamless user experiences. It follows coding standards, works with stakeholders and monitors project progress to identify risks, so that mobile solutions meet organizational and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code across various programming languages and frameworks, following coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Create design documents such as system architecture diagrams, data models and interface specifications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Turn complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, considering performance, security and maintainability.
• Maintain mobile application documentation and procedures, and follow change management processes.
• Follow industry standards and best practices, and implement robust coding standards and documentation practices.
• Create manuals, SOPs, user guides, design specifications and testing plans.
• Work with other teams to ensure smooth integration of mobile solutions, and with the Government communication team to align designs with design standards.
• Set annual performance goals with the line manager, agree on training needs and keep up with professional developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in application development.
• The role is restricted to Emirati candidates.
