Mobile App Team Lead

About the role

IC Markets Global is looking for a Mobile App Team Lead to drive the delivery, release and continuous improvement of its iOS and Android trading applications. The role combines hands‑on development with leadership of a cross‑functional mobile team in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the iOS and Android development team, overseeing day‑to‑day execution, task assignment and delivery timelines.
• Define and enforce mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture) and ensure code quality through reviews and best‑practice standards.
• Own the end‑to‑end release process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, handling submissions, compliance and post‑release monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, Backend, QA, DevOps, Security and Compliance to deliver secure, high‑performance mobile experiences.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, crashes and platform‑specific bugs, and drive automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing mobile developers in a fintech, trading or high‑performance digital platform.
• Strong ownership mindset, able to break down work, remove blockers and ensure high‑quality releases with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• iOS development with Swift and Apple frameworks.
• Android development with Kotlin or Java, Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.
• Mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVP or Clean Architecture.
• Integration with RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs.
• Experience with App Store and Google Play submission processes and compliance.
