Mobile Application Developer Engineer

About the role

The EFS UAE department of a group company based in the United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced Mobile Application Development engineer. You will design, develop and maintain mobile applications that support Facilities Services operations, working on Android and iOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Fix bugs and optimise apps for speed and scalability
• Work with product management and UX/UI designers on product direction
• Test apps thoroughly and troubleshoot issues to improve user experience
• Take part in code reviews and give constructive feedback

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mobile Application Developer
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Required skills

• Java/Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS)
• Cross-platform development and mobile UI/UX design
• RESTful APIs integration; Firebase or AWS services
• Git version control
• Agile development methodologies
