Mobile Engineering Lead

About the role

We are partnering with a leading UAE institution that is building a digital‑first, AI‑enabled financial services platform. As the Mobile Engineering Lead, you will shape the technology, data, and platform foundations for a high‑growth, institutionally backed business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead iOS, Android, and web engineering teams delivering mobile apps, web platforms, and AI‑powered customer experiences.
• Define channel architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and reliability of consumer‑grade digital products.
• Drive rapid, safe releases using CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, progressive delivery, and automated testing.
• Deliver AI‑driven conversational experiences, including chat and voice interactions.
• Establish observability, performance monitoring, and customer journey analytics.
• Manage app‑store releases, rollout strategies, and production operations.
• Build and develop a high‑performing engineering team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience across mobile and web technologies.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and setting technical direction.
• Background building large‑scale consumer‑facing digital products in fintech or other highly regulated environments.
• Cross‑platform development experience.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and conversational interfaces.
