Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant – Global Immunization Programs

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a dynamic Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Consultant to strengthen the effectiveness and impact of its global immunization activities. The consultant will build on an existing data monitoring infrastructure, including a Power BI dashboard, to support decision‑making across country programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the Power BI dashboard that synthesises immunization data from multiple countries.
• Conduct routine and in‑depth data analyses, producing clear reports for senior management and country teams.
• Provide remote M&E support and capacity‑building to national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies.
• Develop methods, indicators and tools to capture community‑based immunization activities that are not covered by routine systems.
• Design and implement evaluations assessing reach, quality and contribution of community activities to vaccination outcomes.
• Assist country programmes in disaggregating data by age group, antigen and delivery mechanism and improve data visualisation and use.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of health or immunization programmes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written communication for report preparation and remote capacity‑building.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse country teams.
