Mortgage Team Leader

About the role

Urban Money is expanding its mortgage brokerage team in Dubai and seeks an experienced Mortgage Team Leader to drive performance and growth. The role involves leading a group of Mortgage Consultants, overseeing the end‑to‑end mortgage process, and strengthening relationships with UAE banks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of Mortgage Consultants.
• Own team targets such as mortgage origination, conversion, revenue and disbursements.
• Conduct regular pipeline reviews and provide hands‑on guidance on active mortgage cases.
• Support consultants with client qualification, DBR, LTV, lender selection and complex mortgage cases.
• Review cases prior to bank submission to improve application quality and conversion.
• Maintain strong relationships with UAE banks, mortgage teams and Relationship Managers.
• Keep the team updated on lender products, rates, credit policies and eligibility criteria.
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and training.

Required profile

• Strong experience in the UAE mortgage industry with solid knowledge of the residential mortgage process and lender criteria.
• Previous experience leading, coaching or mentoring Mortgage Consultants.
• Existing relationships with UAE banks and mortgage Relationship Managers are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to drive team performance, mortgage conversions and disbursements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving and relationship‑management skills.
