Motor Underwriting Analyst – UAE National (Dubai)

About the role

The successful candidate will organise, analyse data, and maintain systematic computerized records related to premiums, ensuring efficient control on the underwriting of the company's business.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle day‑to‑day underwriting functions promptly, adhering to prescribed guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor risk management of clients, claims history and other relevant information to determine coverage and premium rates.
• Scrutinise new submissions and analyse risk in line with Underwriting Guidelines to support underwriting decisions.
• Ensure new and renewal policy documents, terms & conditions, endorsements and service requests are processed accurately and delivered to clients within defined KPIs.
• Provide the highest standard of customer experience to all business partners and clients.

Required profile

• Holding a relevant university degree or general insurance qualification.
• 0‑3 years of work experience in motor underwriting, handling similar responsibilities.
• Experience and technical knowledge in motor retail and fleet underwriting and operations or related lines of insurance.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and agreed turnaround times.
