Multi-Property Director of Engineering

About the role

The Multi-Property Director of Engineering leads engineering and facilities operations across multiple Ritz‑Carlton properties in Ras Al Khaimah. Reporting to regional engineering leadership, the role ensures safety, security, asset protection and optimal performance of all building systems while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the physical plant, including HVAC‑R, refrigeration, plumbing, water‑treatment and electrical systems for all properties.
• Develop and manage engineering budgets, capital‑expenditure projects and long‑term preventative‑maintenance plans.
• Administer service contracts and ensure compliance with fire‑safety procedures and regulatory standards.
• Lead emergency response teams and drive energy‑conservation initiatives.
• Coach property engineering teams to control expenses such as wages, utilities, tools, and vendor services.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of engineering and maintenance experience, or a 2‑year degree in Building & Construction, Engineering or related field with 4 years of experience.
• Technical training in HVAC‑R, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑property engineering operations and budgets.
