Multi-Property Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the General Manager and sit on the property executive committee, leading HR strategy for both Sheraton JBR and Aloft Palm in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business priorities, including talent acquisition, succession planning and performance management.
• Lead the human capital review process, oversee succession planning and assess the leadership pipeline across the properties.
• Manage the engagement survey cycle, analyse results and drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction.
• Oversee compensation strategy, total rewards programmes and quarterly equity analysis for hourly staff.
• Coach hiring managers, optimise staffing processes and ensure effective use of the myHR system.
• Supervise on‑property HR staff and coordinate with market‑based HR specialists as needed.
• Act as change manager for high‑impact initiatives and represent HR results at owners’ meetings.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Human Resources or Business Administration plus 4 years HR/operations experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, develop processes and influence business outcomes.
