About the role
American Gulf School is looking for a motivated MYP Coordinator to lead the Middle Years Programme for the upcoming academic year. The role involves fostering academic excellence, supporting teachers, and ensuring the delivery of a high‑quality IB curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the MYP curriculum across all subjects.
- Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to promote engagement and achievement.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies and monitor programme effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with IB standards and school policies.
- Lead professional development sessions for staff.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MYP Coordinator or in a similar IB role.
- Strong ability to engage with staff, children, and parents.
- Creative, innovative thinker with a dedication to academic excellence.
- Excellent command of English.
Required skills
- IB Middle Years Programme experience.
