About the role

GEMS World Academy – Dubai, an International Baccalaureate World School offering the full IB continuum from PreK to Grade 12, is looking for outstanding MYP/DP English Teachers to join its team from August 2027. The school is home to students from over 100 nationalities and a faculty of more than 45 nationalities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB curriculum, inspiring curiosity, critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning.
• Create an inclusive, internationally minded learning environment, differentiating instruction and using assessment data to support student progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, share best practice and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and the wider school community, supporting student wellbeing and contributing to co-curricular and enrichment opportunities.
• Uphold the values of GEMS Education and the IB Learner Profile, showing a commitment to professional growth.
