Net Developer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a .Net Developer to join our client’s engineering team in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with senior developers and cross‑functional groups to design, build, test and deploy modern software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET based applications following coding standards and design patterns.
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA, UX/UI and product managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve defects, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and continuously improve development processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Git version control, including branching strategies such as GitFlow.
• Proficiency in modern front‑end frameworks (Angular, React) and technologies (TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3).
• Hands‑on experience with back‑end development using .NET Core (C#) and familiarity with Java Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of micro‑services architecture, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit).
