Networking Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer – Hybrid (UAE)

About the role

HPE is looking for a Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer to support major and public‑sector accounts in the UAE, primarily in Abu Dhabi. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence at the HPE office about two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document technology road‑maps and solution proposals that meet customer business requirements.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept engagements and demonstrate how HPE networking solutions address client needs.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities, convert leads and drive deals to closure.
• Maintain awareness of competitive offerings and position HPE products strategically.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of technical pre‑sales or post‑sales experience in networking.
• Experience with major Abu Dhabi accounts, especially in the public sector, is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills and ability to translate technical value into business outcomes.

Required skills

• Routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, security, SASE and network‑management platforms (on‑premise and cloud).
• HPE Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, Cisco ISE.
• Juniper certifications (mandatory) and Cisco certifications (e.g., CCIE) – also CISSP, JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE.
