Networking Systems Engineer – Pre‑Sales (Hybrid)

About the role

HPE is looking for a Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer to support major and public sector accounts in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence at an HPE office about two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present technical solutions and road‑maps that align with customer business requirements.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept engagements, demonstrating HPE networking solutions meet or exceed expectations.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and drive deals to closure.
• Maintain competitive knowledge and position HPE products against alternatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of technical pre‑sales or post‑sales experience in networking.
• Experience with major Abu Dhabi accounts, especially in the public sector, is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, security, SASE and network‑management platforms (on‑premise and cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, Cisco ISE.
• Juniper certifications (mandatory) and Cisco/HPE certifications (highly preferred).
