Nurse Unit Manager – Accident & Emergency

About the role

The Nurse Unit Manager will lead the Accident & Emergency team to deliver safe, high‑quality emergency care. You will be responsible for clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and a positive patient experience while fostering staff engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to nursing staff.
• Ensure evidence‑based patient care aligns with clinical standards.
• Develop employees and create an environment that promotes team engagement and positive patient experiences.
• Manage clinical and non‑clinical resources cost‑effectively to enhance patient safety.
• Monitor compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards and drive continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (essential).
• 3‑5 years senior‑level A&E nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
• Knowledge of trauma care pathways, emergency response protocols and multidisciplinary trauma team coordination.
• Desired: Master’s degree in Nursing or related field and trauma‑related certification (e.g., TNCC, ATCN).
