Offshore HSE Inspector – Marine Unit Audits

About the role

Perform barge audits to ensure marine units engaged on projects meet all contractual requirements in a cost‑effective and efficient manner. The role involves planning, coordinating and monitoring the audit schedule, guaranteeing vessel readiness, and educating field personnel on compliance and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the audit schedule for barges and ensure timely vessel readiness from a compliance standpoint.
• Educate field personnel on rules, regulations and statutory requirements to maintain high compliance levels.
• Verify implementation of company lifting standards and quality procedures on‑board barges.
• Inspect barge equipment, certificates and HSE fixed or mobile equipment (LSA/FFA) to ensure compliance with ADNOC and ARAMCO HSE standards.
• Attend client inspections on‑board barges, build rapport with client inspectors and document findings.
• Conduct on‑board audits, identify NCRs, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions through the lessons‑learned program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• NEBOSH or IOSH diploma (or equivalent internationally recognised HSE certification).
• Minimum 6 years of on‑shore and offshore experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC and ARAMCO HSE standards.
• Fluent written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
