Offshore Operations Support Coordinator

About the role

The Offshore Operations Support Coordinator ensures that all materials required for offshore projects are transported, cleared, and delivered in compliance with customs regulations across multiple countries. The role acts as the central liaison between NMDC Energy, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation for import, export, and re‑export of offshore materials in KSA and other jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate document control and records in line with UAE and other countries’ customs requirements.
• Monitor and communicate changes in customs regulations to logistics and project teams.
• Coordinate inspections, resolve customs queries, holds, or discrepancies.
• Track temporary imports and ensure timely re‑export compliance.
• Produce regular status reports on shipments, clearance, and documentation issues.
• Identify customs risks and propose corrective actions to avoid penalties.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with customs clearance processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with Saudi Customs law, ZATCA, and port authority requirements.
• Ability to maintain detailed records for audits and project reviews.
• Strong communication skills to act as focal point between multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• HS Code classification for product customs declaration.
• Preparation of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and SASO/SABER documentation.
• Management of temporary import and re‑export documentation.
• Document control and record‑keeping compliant with UAE customs regulations.
