Operational & Financial Auditor – Corporate Services

About the role

The Operational & Financial Auditor will perform operational and financial audits in line with the annual audit plan, ensuring internal controls are effective, assets are protected and information integrity is maintained across Al Futtaim’s corporate services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan and create detailed audit programs documenting risks, controls and test procedures.
• Conduct internal operational and financial audits, review approval processes for compliance with Group policies, and safeguard Group assets.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System, prepare professional audit reports and executive summaries, and update senior management on key findings.
• Utilise computer‑based audit techniques such as ACL, and perform fraud investigations to identify losses, control weaknesses and recommend preventive measures.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, MBA Finance, CIA, CFA) with a minimum of 3 years experience in internal audit.
• Self‑driven professional capable of executing audits with minimal supervision and managing multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of internal auditing standards and internal controls.
• Proficiency in data analytics and auditing software, including ACL.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and audit management/documentation systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
