Operational Risk Associate – Fresh Graduate Role

About the role

The Operational Risk Associate will support ADIB Group’s Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework, focusing initially on incident management. This position is open to UAE national fresh graduates and offers the chance to develop a broad understanding of operational risk across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operational Risk Management team in handling risk incidents and losses.
• Support identification, assessment and monitoring of key operational risk exposures in line with ADIB’s ORM policies.
• Help manage issues, actions and timely implementation of corrective measures.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk & Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) tools.
• Collect and update operational risk data on the Group’s risk platform and prepare regular risk profile reports.

Required profile

• UAE national fresh graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and quantitative abilities.
• Highly self‑motivated with a keen eye for detail and a desire for continuous learning.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
