Operational Specialist (Supply Chain & Logistics)

About the role

The Operations Specialist supports the end‑to‑end flow of supply chain and logistics activities, ensuring goods move efficiently, inventory is well‑managed, and transportation is cost‑effective. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to meet delivery expectations while maintaining compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of goods across the supply chain, collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and transport providers.
• Arrange and manage transportation, select carriers, negotiate freight rates, schedule shipments, and track deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and optimize replenishment to balance demand and carrying costs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and delivery receipts.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements, submitting necessary import/export declarations.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors, monitor their performance, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Required profile

• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance.
