Operations Executive - Import (Air & Sea)

About the role

Kintetsu World Express (Middle East) DWC LLC is looking for an Operations Executive for its Import Department in the Freight team in Dubai South. The role manages the smooth, compliant and cost-effective movement of inbound shipments by air and sea, coordinating clients, shipping lines, airlines, local agents and the KWE Network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Air & Sea Import operations and ensure timely shipment processing
• Maintain and update shipment files and documentation
• Ensure import documents are filed correctly for audit verification
• Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, truckers, the KWE network and customers
• Coordinate the collection of original documents
• Ensure timely cargo collection and delivery coordination
• Ensure timely billing and client updates
• Support internal and external clients to meet their business requirements
• Prioritize operational tasks and perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Required profile

• University degree preferred, ideally in Freight, Business, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, specifically in an Air & Sea Import Department
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Customer-focused, collaborative, self-disciplined and reliable
• Good negotiation and relationship-building skills
